A single-colour linocut print in warm golden yellow, hand-pressed on a conventional analogue press. Of all the Apple prints, this one feels the most open and luminous — the ink is light and radiant, and the white of the paper floods through the composition in broad, sweeping rays that fan outward from the centre like sunlight through leaves.

The apple form here almost dissolves into pure abstraction. The radiating lines dominate the picture plane so completely that the fruit becomes a kind of solar motif — a seed of energy at the centre of an expanding field. Quieter in tone than the neon orange version, but no less intense in its sense of movement and light.

This is number 1 from a limited edition of just 5 hand-pulled impressions, signed and dated in pencil by the artist.
