The composition captures a row of wooden houses beneath a dramatically swirling sky - an expressive, almost musical rhythm of carved lines evoking both folk tradition and the restless energy of a Van Gogh-inspired night.

The bold red facades of the buildings anchor the lower half of the print with warmth and solidity, while the blue upper register dissolves into sweeping, spiralling clouds - carved with confident, gestural strokes that reveal the hand of the artist at every turn. The layering of the two ink colours creates rich, dark tones where they overlap, adding depth and a sense of mystery to the scene.
